CONDITIONS UPDATE AS OF 04.07.20: The lake is approximately 85 % ice covered. Lots of shoreline exposed as ice recedes and can be fished. Conditions change constantly as it is Spring time in the Rockies. Ice access at Coyote Ridge but not for us. Calling ice season over.

The rest of the lake is pretty much ice covered with thickness running 10 to 18 inches. Some bad shoreline areas prevent access to the ice. Those include Eagle Claw, Pautzke, Northland, Acme, Rapala, Trout Traps, Beaver Damn, Luhr Jensen and StrikeMaster in addition to our regular offerings. We make our own ice fishing jigs that have produced here for many years, the Krystal Lazers and Tiny Tots. We have Night Crawlers, Meal Worms, Wax Worms, Mummified Wax Worms, WATER DOGS, Suckers, Salmon Eggs and more. Come on in and check em out

MARINA STORE AND LAKE SPECIALISTS: Camping, Fishing Equipment, Flies, Lures, Bait, Clothing, Food, Snacks, Drinks, Ice Cream and official purveyors of Boars Head brand products. Stop in and find out how we can help you catch. Get a topo map. They say information is gold. It's also critical to catching fish ESPECIALLY ON THE ICE. The maps have GPS coordinates on them so you just can't miss. We want you to be successful here at the Mile. Get a map we will MARK IT UP with the hot spots

TROUT:: GOOD:: Lots of nice fish were caught last weekend on what seems like ever lasting hard water. Anglers with distance and ice-o-lation found success on a variety of baits. Egg sacks caught the biggest but Kastmasters in the 1/8 size gold or FT tipped did well. This is the time of year when switching baits often is the name of the game as they may hit one type of bait early and switch as the day progresses. Lots of Trophy fish are caught at ice off.

KOKANEE SALMON: FAIR: If you want to go one last time this would be the weekend. We had the same luck we had all season. Catching 2 to 4 with other missed opportunities followed by long waits. The smaller Kastmaster certainly seemed to be the most productive along with Swedish Pimples in size 3 and 4. When the biting group comes through you better be on your game.

NORTHERN PIKE: FAIR:Our Guide Karl E. has seen them and has been teased. The big fish are extremely cautious and will watch a bait for extended periods and then move off. Stealth is required. We are out of water dogs for the season. They were only moderately successful this year. Suckers have done as good as any bait of late.

SPECIAL NOTE: 11 Mile Marina is located at the North Shore in Eleven Mile State Park, Lake George Colorado. A CPW Park Pass is required on all vehicles entering the Park.  Any fees for Guide/Outfitter/Rental services do not include Park fees, CO fishing license or gratuities.

The WEEKLY FISHING REPORT is produced by fishermen for fishermen. We try to get it done every Thursday but some times fishing or life gets in the way. So if its not there on Thursday morning it will show up by Friday. We appreciate all the support and acknowledge that many of you won't miss a week but every now and then we might. Report takes a vacation in November. Fish On!

Reservations and payments taken over the phone and purchases on line via credit card are secure.
