June Has Steady Fishing Action

Typical weather for June has been predominant with the occasional tropical shower. The winds have been light and everyone is able to get out on the water. The past week has been steady action for fishing both inshore and offshore. We just came by the full moon where the tides and water movements can be super drastic. A couple of the nights during the brightest part of the moon were very over cast so that happened the fish eating at night and turned them on during the day. Inshore the moon can have its affect on tarpon and offshore the effect is on the dolphin. The reef bite was pretty good with plenty of nice size yellowtail snapper and mutton snappers being taken to lunch. Many of the snapper species spawn during the late spring through the summer.
