PIC # 3: What a gorgeous Brown Trout. 5 1/4 lbs

PIC # 4: 11 Mile Marina Guide Carl Eslinger has been getting into the Pike.

SUPPORT THE REPORT: Many thanks to all of you that support our store and business. We love you. Many Many Thanks! We are here for you with a great selection of what works and up to the minute fishing information. AS they say it doesn’t get any fresher than that!

MARINA STORE AND LAKE SPECIALISTS: Camping, Fishing Equipment, Flies, Lures, Bait, Clothing, Food, Snacks, Drinks, Ice Cream and official purveyors of Boars Head brand products. Stop in and find out how we can help you catch. Get a topo map. They say information is gold. It's also critical to catching fish from shore or boat. The maps have GPS coordinates on them so you just can't miss. We want you to be successful here at the Mile. Get a map we will MARK IT UP with the hot spots. Our tackle shop is fully stocked with all the great things you apparently can’t find at Cabela’s, Bass Pro and Wal Mart. TACKLE THE NEW TP…. go figure. Our tackle shop is fully stocked.

TROUT::GOOD TO VERY GOOD: The action before the weather turned was just awesome. Many great fish caught. Pic # 3 Brown was caught out of a kayak on a swim bait. Pic # 2 saw all their action on orange Rapala’s. Orange was a very good color in general last week. Trolling, pitching, shore line all was productive last week. A quick jump into Fall conditions is just what we want.

KOKANEE SALMON: POOR and POORER: No one claimed the prize. We have no answer.

NORTHERN PIKE: VERY GOOD: Many anglers are having fun with the Northern. All the sizes seem to be hitting. Swim bait was the successful weapon on Pic #1. Others have had good luck on Jointed Rapala mostly in orange and perch. Weeds or rocks they seem to be active in general. Heaviest Pike weighed in this month gets $100.00. It’s a high bar but the fish you need is definitely out there. So as not to get discouraged we’ll throw $50 bucks to the second heaviest fish.

SERIOUS FISHERMEN TEAM PIKE TOURNAMENT has become another Covid casualty. Due to restrictions placed on us and the general unknown as to where these recent spikes are headed we have decided to take a pass this year on the contest. SORRY but we just think it is best all things considered. We will give a $100.00 to the biggest Pike weighed in here for the month of September! Bring em in.

SPECIAL NOTE: 11 Mile Marina is located at the North Shore in Eleven Mile State Park, Lake George Colorado. A CPW Park Pass is required on all vehicles entering the Park.  Any fees for Guide/Outfitter/Rental services do not include Park fees, CO fishing license or gratuities.

The WEEKLY FISHING REPORT is produced by fishermen for fishermen. We try to get it done every Thursday but some times fishing or life gets in the way. So if its not there on Thursday morning it will show up by Friday. We appreciate all the support and acknowledge that many of you won't miss a week but every now and then we might. Be Safe. Fish On!

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES: No matter the time of year we are always looking for that right person that wants to work. Stop in or email.
