HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 3 PM Saturday & Sunday 7:00AM to 4:30 PM WE HAVE THE BAITS !!
UPDATE: 04.16.21 It snowed pretty good last night. Looks to be about 6 to 8 inches. Temp at 15 degrees 7:00AM. That ice is going no where fast. But the catching is HOT from what shore line you can find.
SPINNEY AND ELEVEN MILE STILL SUBSTANTIAL ICE. Eleven Mile is seeing lake level rise quickly. The water is being drawn out of Spinney. We would be surprised if the boat ramp will be usable at ice off at Spinney. It was already sketchy at the end of last Season.

CURRENT CONDITIONS: The lake is approximately 80% ice covered. This is substantial for this time in April but there is significant open shoreline to fish. At this point with all the ice out there we can’t imagine the lake being open for boating much before the end of the month. Its been five days of nasty cold weather with minimal melting. No new snow accumulation. The nice thing is most folks are waiting for better weather. Nice for us, no competition for shoreline space. In April that will cost you great opportunities as the fish don’t care, its ice off time which the pics above demonstrate. These fish were caught in very nasty conditions. right along the edge of where the receding ice meets the water. Weather moves in and out rapidly this time of year. Bundle up come prepared catch big fish. It’s that simple.
THE COVID THE PARK THE MARINA UPDATE: Effective April 9 Park County will go to level GREEN on the State Covid color wheel. Please go to Parkco.us for details. Face Masks are OPTIONAL except in places noted such as schools, health care facilities, salons and a few other specifics.

PIC # 1: Big Cuttbow. Black Marabou, Caught and Released.
PIC # 2: Beautiful Snake River Cutthroat. Black Marabou, Caught and Released
TROUT: GOOD: We imagine there is ice access still around Coyote Ridge and Corral Cove but we are done for the season and are exclusively working the available shoreline. Most of the fish are in spawn mode and we like catch and release this time of year. They tend to hit different baits different times of the day. Fly action revolves around hatches. Lures like Kastmaster and Rapala are good this time of year. Tubes and Marabous are always productive.. Baits like Power Bait and spawn sack are very good at certain times of the day. You can still C & R with bait. Just sacrifice your hook cut the line they will be fine.
KOKANEE SALMON: NO REPORT
NORTHERN PIKE: NO REPORT: We haven’t caught any yet from shore but this time of year can produce Trophy fish.
