6/14/21 30 Fathom Red Snapper

During the day it did finally let up and gave us a pretty nice day. We caught plenty of red snapper this trip which left a lot of regret with throwing back so many and only to leave with their 4 fish limit. We had the best gag grouper bite of the season so far with us landing around a dozen gags and a couple dozen Reds and some Scamps along with losing multiple others. Fishing started off slow on this trip, but ended strong. The Mango & Beeliner bite was off the charts as were the Red Porgy’s. We hated a couple of Bonito,s and Almaco Jacks and threw back a few illegal Triggerfish and a couple of Sharks. We had red snapper on this trip pushing 18-20lb and the gags upwards of 15-18lb. If you put your time in at the rail and paid attention on this trip you were definitely rewarded in the end with some very nice fish.
