Hooking Up Anglers Since 2011.
Water Temperature – Averaging about 84° for both the inshore and offshore. The inshore water north of Barra Potosi to about the Ranch, is a degree or so cooler.
Blue Water – The blue water has moved to the beach, making fishing for roosterfish difficult. Unfortunately, the blue water for the offshore has moved out to about the 20 mile mark.
Offshore – Sailfish action, with the warm water, is slow. There are several dorado being taken, but mostly off floating trees or logs from the ruminants of hurricane Rick.
Inshore –With the clear water, the fishing is difficult. Yet, some captains are scoring well. Luck plays most of the part. There are several large jack crevalle being taken, and a few roosters.
Adolfo and Cheva, on the pangas Dos hermaons and Dos Hermanos II have been doing well.
