Offshore: Winds will be Southeasterly at 20 to 25 knots increasing to 25 to 30 knots, with seas increasing to 2 to 3 metres during the morning. Snapper from North reef and Wahoo from Sunshine Reef. Fishing Offshore Noosa caught school and Spanish mackerel, grass emperor, pearl perch, venus tusk fish, snapper and Moses perch from Sunshine Reef. Spotty mackerel from Coolum Reef and Currimundi. Grass sweetlip from Old Women Island. Longtail tuna and sweetlip out form Point Cartwright. Caloundra 5 has had spotty and spanish mackerel.
Noosa: Flathead, bream, grunter bream, giant trevally and whiting in the lower river. Mangrove jack in Noosa Sound and in Woods Bay area. Mud crabs throughout the river.
Maroochydore: Jew to 86cm in the gutters and headlands around Coolum. Flathead, bream, grunter bream, trevally and whiting in the lower river. Mangrove jack form the creeks. Mud crabs throughout the river.
Mooloolaba: Some good catches of dart in the gutters along the Kawana beach. Whiting, flathead and a few good grunter bream in Mountain creek. Bream and golden trevally from the boat moorings. Mud crabs in the canals and lower river.
Caloundra: Whiting and flathead in Currimundi Lake. Flathead, bream and whiting along Golden Beach. Mud crabs throughout the passage and in the creeks.
Michael Hutchinson trolled up a few GT's in the lower Maroochy River last week using the ever dependable Trollcraft Pelagic #4 lure.
