The maps have GPS coordinates on them so you just can't miss. We want you to be successful here at the Mile. Get a map we will MARK IT UP with the hot spots. WE ARE HERE FISHING EVERYDAY AND CAN PUT YOU ON THE FISH.

PIC # 1: 11 Mile Marina Guide. Not four limits but when you are new to Kokanee fishing you find out that you surely miss as many as you catch

PIC # 2: Six of these were caught on the 1/4 oz Watermelon Kastmaster. Snow mobiles and ATV’s are allowed on Eleven Mile with a valid disabled special access permit.. If you have a blue placard for your vehicle you qualify for permit. Some restrictions apply. Contact the Park office for more info. Applications taken December 2022 for 2023 season. Park closed the lake this week for all disabled access for the season.

PIC # 3: You can only find these at the 11 Mile Marina Store and maybe something like them at Valley Country Tackle in Aurora. Say hi to Louise.

TROUT: FAIR TO GOOD: Snow melt will murk up the water in the shallows particularly on the West end where water is generally murky given the flows on the river and snow melt. Fish don’t seem to care. Action best early.. Look to shallow water sandy bottom 5 feet or less and a bait presentation like salmon or trout eggs, night crawlers on the bottom.. The larger fish are in spawning under the ice. A small Tiny Tot with half of meal worm has also worked well. Occasional nice Trout also to be had when hunting Kokanee.

KOKANEE SALMON: GOOD TO EXCELLENT:: This is surely one of the last weekends for you to fill the smoker. Maybe next weekend too but this one for sure. There have been some days where there are fewer fish and with lock jaw but there has also been some killer days with limits being caught. These are the most finicky fish. Change up frequently to find the pattern of the day. Start with the tried and true baits like Kasmaster, Swedish Pimple. Orange has been consistent. Krocodiles and Thomas Bouyants have also done well. Fish have been all over the map as far as levels but not as many on the bottom as in weeks past. Look to just below the ice to 40 feet down in 50-60 feet of water.

NORTHERN PIKE: GOOD TO VERY GOOD: Stoll Mtn to points west have done well. Look to 10 feet of water or less. Try all the baits. Sucker meat, tube jigs , big spoons, waterdogs if you got them. Mid morning to mid afternoon has seen consistent success. North Shore to Corral Cove also sees a decent number of fish.

SPECIAL NOTE: 11 Mile Marina is located at the North Shore in Eleven Mile State Park, Lake George Colorado. A CPW Park Pass is required on all vehicles entering the Park.  Any fees for Guide/Outfitter/Rental services do not include Park fees, CO fishing license or gratuities.
