WE ARE HERE FISHING EVERYDAY AND CAN PUT YOU ON THE FISH.

PIC # 1: Lots of great fish like this being caught.

PIC # 2: Visiting from out of State stopped at the Mile for stop catching.

PIC # 3: Five Kokanee Salmon lost two! The big ones got away

PIC # 4: Enjoying a sundowner at the Mile

TROUT: GOOD TO VERY GOOD: Action is strong all around the lake. Many smaller fish put in this Winter from 10 to 13 inches. Bigger fish are active and being caught. Trolling action strong. Bank action good early and late in the day: Tas Devils, Rapala’s and Kastmasters in additon to many other baits and lure.

KOKANEE SALMON: GOOD TO VERY GOOD: The Winter action is carrying forward. Best early season in a long time. Many different baits are working. Not all fish are deep but many are just like Winter. 30 to 50 feet down in 60 plus feet of water. Lead core rigs doing great at 4 and 5 colors. We sell lead core rigs ready to fish. Down riggers also working but there is a weird slime in the water that seems to be collecting on the vertical line down to ball. Tas Devils, Needlefish, Arnies Dyna Mac in orange and chartreuse. Pink also a good color. Macks Wedding rings or a Macks Sling blade with Needlefish. Limits are possible and being caught. If you have a lead core set up and never fished for Kokanee you absolutely have a chance to catch some. In the process you will catch Trout. The small Trout are not salmon and some people think they are. Be careful know your specie. Salmon are distinctive but some smaller Trout are very silver and some times confused with kokes. Gill Lice is present in many fish so that problem has not gone away.

NORTHERN PIKE: GOOD: Fish being caught on points West. Witchers Cove also good. Look to big stick baits trolling in 10 feet of water like F18 Rapala. Multiple baits working as far as colors go. FT, Blue silver and orange Husky Jerks. Large Daredelves. Mid morning and mid afternoon seeing good bites.

SPECIAL NOTE: 11 Mile Marina is located at the North Shore in Eleven Mile State Park, Lake George Colorado. A CPW Park Pass is required on all vehicles entering the Park.  Any fees for Guide/Outfitter/Rental services do not include Park fees, CO fishing license or gratuities.
