Slow day for the Country Girl

Its been a very windy November. Our last trip was on November 5th and every booked day between then and now has been blown out. The charter fleet split off into to two groups today so that we could spread out and better our chances of finding fish. There were a few boats that fished down on the lower end yesterday that found a few yellowfin tuna. We thought it would be best to head back down to that area today. We started the first hour with quite a few bites, but for some reason we kept pulling them off. Things slowed down for the fleet around mid morning. At the very end of the day a few of the boats that fished on the northern edge of the hot water started getting bites and wound up with some good catches of yellowfin tuna.
