CURRENT CONDITIONS: Ice thickness ranging from 16 to 20plus. Three inches of new. Roads a little icy today but should be fine come Saturday. Pressure ridges should always be avoided.
WE RENT ICE FISHING EQUIPMENT: Reservations highly advised or first come first served
WATERCRAFT RENTAL: In addition to contest sign up you can reserve boats now for 2023 by clicking the REGISTER NOW box.
CONTEST STUFF: CONTEST SOLD OUT The Contest with State wide bragging rights! Team limit is 150 for many reasons. Early check in available Friday 8:00AM to 4:00PM. Both team members must be present, still need to show up Sat morning back door but won’t need to wait in line. TROUT ONLY two fish weigh in per team. Must be in weigh in line no later than 2:30PM

WATERDOGS: Waterdogs have been a hot bait for PIKE through the ice. Supplies are still available. AND these dogs this year are particularly small AND although they have been good for Pike we have caught a fair number of TROUT on them this season and always a big one. Those in the contest should think about about that.
FROZEN SUCKERS: Suckers have also been doing good with the Pike. We have the perfect size in stock.
Weather Station: Although we got our on site live weather station working as seen below we have had technical issues with the camera feed and still have not solved the problem.

The maps have GPS coordinates on them so you just can't miss. We want you to be successful here at the Mile. Get a map we will MARK IT UP with the hot spots. A lot more folks have been using our ice rink this year and we have a few odds and ends in case you forget a puck or two, break a stick need some tape or laces etc. WE HAVE HOT CHOCOLATE TOO1
PIC # 1: Your standard nice Eleven Mile Cuttbow. You’ll need at least two like that to be in the money this weekend.

TROUT: FAIR: February is known to be a slower month in general. Lots of whining going on for those that think they should catch fish every time they go. Heck that includes us lol. We whine but we don’t give up and usually we at least don’t get skunked. Try different spots and different baits. The fish could be close at hand but you need to attract them. Different colors different techniques.Try bait only laying on the bottom. The stockers have moved up West and around the lake. We do not see them in deeper water. Many Trout seen and caught deeper but just below the ice down to 12 feet or so. Most range 17 to 20 inches. If you fish shallow be prepared for very shallow with early big spawners. They usually suck bait off the bottom. Always set a tip up if 25 feet depth or less. If a flag goes up its50/50 could be a big Trout if you have a small waterdog.
KOKANEE SALMON: FAIR TO POOR: It’s still one here one there certainly not the big schools we saw earlier in the season. You would think they would be showing up again. At least you have a chance at a nice Trout as you wait.
NORTHERN PIKE: FAIR: The same drill hot one day cold the next. That’s catching or not as the case maybe. Try big spoons as an attraction and have another bait in the wait. Big tube with sucker meat or tasty waterdog. Patience is the virtue.
SPECIAL NOTE: 11 Mile Marina is located at the North Shore in Eleven Mile State Park, Lake George Colorado. A CPW Park Pass is required on all vehicles entering the Park. Any fees for Guide/Outfitter/Rental services do not include Park fees, CO fishing license or gratuities.
