MONDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY 8:00AM - 4:00PM (Closed Tuesday & Wed unless we’re here or by reservation) After a recent customer experience we will no longer take rental equipment reservations for Tuesday and Wed. We will take Guide reservations. We will be open Tuesday the 10th and Wed the 11th before the first contest.

CONTEST NEWS AND UPDATES: Very excited about Saturday: EARLY CHECK IN: THIS IS HOW IT WORKS. A team may check in on Friday up until 4:00PM Both Team Members MUST BE PRESENT. All this does is allow both of you to go to the backdoor and skip the line out front. YOU MUST STILL show up at Marina backdoor Saturday Morning and show your ID card received at early check in and then you may leave. Failure to have your named marked off the list is a rule violation.
HONOR SYSTEM: This is an honor system contest but don’t think for one MINUTE that we don’t take all rules seriously. Cheat and you will be caught, banished and possibly prosecuted based on the violation GUARANTEED!!! This is the 20th Anniversary and we have tremendous experience and know what to look for and where to look. Every Team is an official representative of the contest and may report any observed violations. PARTY FISHING will not be tolerated and is considered a major violation. We will have an army of officials on the ice as well as teams of CPW officers positioned all around the lake. WE WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT WE ARE HERE TO PROTECT YOU FROM CHEATERS AND PRESERVE THE INTEGRITY OF THIS, ONE OF THE OLDEST ICE TOURNAMENTS IN COLORADO.
CURRENT RULE ADJUSTMENTS: Any rule changes will be told to you at check in. Currently these are the fish you may weigh in: TROUT: 2 per team SALMON: 5 per teams was 10. PIKE: 5 per team was 10 This is a very difficult event for us at weigh in and we will assist all teams in being properly prepared to weigh in fish. NO FISH will be weighed that are covered with snow and ice. Teams determine what fish they will weigh in we will NOT weigh in fish individually to see which ones are biggest unless it is a BFP entry.

WHEN SHALL I SHOW UP??? That’s a good question. Some years the flow is absolutely perfect and although we never have a minute to spare no one seems to have to wait too long. And then some years everyone shows up at once. We suggest you show up early if you are fishing Witchers Cove or points on south shore. If you are fishing North side its probably OK to show up later. We will only allow 5 teams in store at one time. Covid is making the rounds and we want to limit the indoor crowd.

CURRENT CONDITIONS: ICE ON. No new snow very slick conditions. Ice ranging from 6 to 14 inches depending on where you are. Pressure ridges are active and dangerous. Some open water appearing in odd spots due to warm and windy conditions Stay away from rocks as they absorb heat and create soft ice. EXTREME CAUTION ADVISED
WE RENT ICE FISHING EQUIPMENT: Reservations highly advised or first come first served
WATERCRAFT RENTAL: In addition to contest sign up you can reserve boats now for 2023 at 2022 rates by clicking the REGISTER NOW box.
WATER FLOW: 135 CFS IN 144 CFS OUT
WATERDOGS: Waterdogs have been a hot bait for PIKE through the ice. We have made predictions before regarding supply issues on certain products as things have been challenging the last two years. We don’t see good news on waterdogs moving forward. Drought conditions in critical areas and early freeze will more than likely restrict supply overall. We just got some in and anticipate there being a supply in the early part of the season. But when they’re gone the right size will be near impossible to get. Bring your bait bucket and put them up..they last a long time.
FROZEN SUCKERS: Suckers have also been doing good with the Pike. We have the perfect size in stock.
BAIT IN GENERAL: Bait has been hit and miss for us in being able to get certain things. We will have meal worms gold only and wax worms in stock along with everything else.
Weather Station: Although we got our on site live weather station working as seen below we have had technical issues with the camera feed and still have not solved the problem.

We have had teams place in all three but none have ever taken first in all three categories

Stop in and find out how we can help you catch. Get a topo map. They say information is gold. It's also critical to catching fish on the ice. The maps have GPS coordinates on them so you just can't miss. We want you to be successful here at the Mile. Get a map we will MARK IT UP with the hot spots. WE ARE HERE FISHING EVERYDAY AND CAN PUT YOU ON THE FISH.

PIC # 3: He shoots he SCORES!! We have the hockey nets here if you want to play. We will not be removing snow and creating a ice rink until CPW allows us to have ATV on the ice.
TROUT: GOOD: The catching has been hot and cold with some days just off the hook excuse the pun and others not a fish to be seen. Most anglers doing well no matter where they go. Points West continue to be consistent. Rocky Flats and Howbert have been particularly fun. Action is consistent in water ranging from 10 to 20 feet. Tube and crappie jigs are productive. Krystal Lazers, Tiny Tots, Rat Finke and Ratso’s have also done well along with a variety of spoons. Try Northland Buck Shot Rattle or Forage Minnow Spoons. Big Trout have also been hitting Waterdogs.
KOKANEE SALMON: GET READY: Above pic shows that they are starting to bite providing you are at the right place at the right time. As we have mentioned look to points East early Season as they move West as things progress. Above fish caught 40 feet down on spoons tipped with gold meal worm.
NORTHERN PIKE: GOOD: A decent number of anglers are catching nice ones. Smaller fish the order of the day but bigger ones are on the prowl and hitting. Waterdogs and suckers are both effective. Areas from North Shore all the way West have seen action.
SPECIAL NOTE: 11 Mile Marina is located at the North Shore in Eleven Mile State Park, Lake George Colorado. A CPW Park Pass is required on all vehicles entering the Park. Any fees for Guide/Outfitter/Rental services do not include Park fees, CO fishing license or gratuities.
The WEEKLY FISHING REPORT is produced by fishermen for fishermen. We try to get it done every Thursday but some times fishing or life gets in the way. So if its not there on Thursday morning it will show up by Friday. We appreciate all the support and acknowledge that many of you won't miss a week but every now and then we might.
