Lower Otay Reservoir Fish Report

The 176 anglers checked last week at Lower Otay reported catching 255 bass, 11 bluegill and 1 channel catfish. Rich Welch of Santee caught a 10.2 lb largemouth in Harvey Arm on a Basstrix Flash Trix on Sunday. The launching conditions are excellent and the surface temp is listed at 59 degrees. Lower Otay is open on a Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday schedule. Boat rentals are available on Saturdays and Sundays only.
