It wasn't much of a catch, but the one 28-inch bluefin tuna caught Saturday on No Shame was in the right place -- the east side of the Mud Hole, just 28 miles from Shark River Inlet. Christopher DeFoe of NeptuneCity had Dave Clark of Point Pleasant and Richie Hahn from Saddle Brook aboard when that tuna hit a balao in clear bluish-green waters where dolphins were cavorting. DeFoe said the tuna was full of fresh butterfish, and that the Mud Hole was loaded with bait. On the way in they trolled bluefish in green water on the west side. Those choppers spit up anchovies.
