We have been battling the winds, the cooler weather, and some grass so the flounder fishing has slowed down a bit. We are waiting another warm snap and the sinds to subside a bit to bring back the flounder fishing to the stellar start whcih we have had. In the surf zone there are dogfish sharks, skates, black drum, and even a few striper( striped bass) are out of season for the whole month of April. We have been getting in fresh bait we havei n fresh bunker. Live minnows live bloodworms... Stop on in for all your fishing needs.
Joey, William, and Rob from Mt. Airy, MD caught 3 keeper flounder using silversides and fishing the Assateague Channel near Tom’s Cove.
Jason Imler caught these 3 flounder Sunday afternoon on outgoing tide in assateague channel, he had a little luck battling wind & grass.
Austin, Brandon, and Zach from Cambridge, MD limited out witrh these dozen flounder with fish up to 22 inches.
