Hooking Up Anglers Since 2011.
The Deep Sea Fishing Boats at Bud N Mary's have continued fishing both offshore and on the reef the past couple of days. On the reef there's been yellowtail snapper, a few mutton snapper (pic from Finnster), a couple cobia (pic from The Reel McCoy), King Mackerel, as well as a few groupers (catch and release till May 1). Offshore there was quite a few dolphin yesterday, (pic of Predator with a nice catch) , but today with the North wind they were a lot more difficult. The Cloud Nine had a dozen schoolies and one gaffer today, along with a wahoo. Both the Relentless and Bn'M had big amberjacks to 40 lbs, blackfin tuna, and a dolphin each. The Reel McCoy had a limit of King Mackerel on the reef today. Yesterday on the BNM we caught and released two more BIG TIGER SHARKS! One was estimated at 400 lbs and the other at 600+ lbs! We also caught a bunch of amberjack (some used for bait), a few "football" tunas, and a nice wahoo on the way out. The Catch 22 had a great catch of mahi yesterday (before the wind change last night) with 25 fish, including a couple nice ones at 20 lbs each. It looks like the wind is going to blow over the weekend, but hopefully the dolphin (mahi) get happy again and start being consistent.
