Hooking Up Anglers Since 2011.
Patti Siewny from Wheeling WV with a 7.1 pound and 5.11 pound flounder she caught drifting the Assateague Channel
Capt. Glenn Clawsen aboard The Shammy Charter Boat did it again this time 8 yellowfin tuna trolling in the Canyons.
Mark and Kevin aboard the Bluefin. Kevins first spadefish!
Becci from Dover, PA made her first trip to the island and caught these 3 keepers...She's a keeper too!! She out fished the guys!!
Dennis and Cindy Zander picked up this flounder today using a spro bucktail @ Memorial Park.
This weekend was the annual KBA office fishing trip to Chincoteague. The KBA crew fished hard for flounder on Saturday afternoon. We hooked 7 and landed 5 including one 23 long. All were caught on Capt Steves flounder rigs with live minnows, also from Steves. These fish fought hard and made for delicious table fare Saturday night. It doesn’t get any fresher than that!
On Sunday we took the whole crew offshore for sharks. Capt Steve’s baits, chum and secret sauce did the trick. We hooked 8 sharks and landed 7. Two tigers, four dusky, and two mako (one small, one huge). The only fish we
lost all day was an enormous mako that will haunt our dreams. It was truly the fish of a life time. At least we got to see it near the boat, and the crew has a story of the one that got away. Kudos to Molly for landing her first shark. She was almost pulled overboard, but kept the pressure on and released a nice tiger. We may be accountants, but the KBA crew can fish!
