Hooking Up Anglers Since 2011.
After weeks of pretty strong winds, this week was a dream with glamour conditions on the water from the start of fishing on Tuesday. Although a couple of guys have bluewater fished on KEKOA before, they were barramundi fishing novices – but not any more. They got so many fish, especially on the last day – when Capt. Luke returned to the boat he told me that he’d broken these guys and needed new ones. Apparently they were catching fish after fish, hooking up or having a bite on every cast and by the end of the day they were simply exhausted from catching barra! We had a huge feed of mud-crab and the tassie boys are now expert at shelling crab too.
