Hooking Up Anglers Since 2011.
Fellow Sportsmen, 07/15/12
Well here is a quick report as fishing is still good. Today I had a group of 5 that chartered the boat and they wish to leave at 7 AM. That was not a problem as they chartered the boat. We went up the coast and started fishing up around Muir beach. I hopscotched around and we had easy limits of Rockfish and a lingcod by 10 AM. Then we came in to Bonita Cove to look for White Sea Bass and Halibut but it looked a little grim so so I decided to head back out to the North Bar and fishing improved. We landed two nice halibut up to 19 pounds and a bass that went 17 pounds. At 2:30 PM my crew was very happy and content and wish to head back to the harbor. When we arrived at the harbor Zach and I filleted all of fish and I grilled up some rockfish on the barbecue for them. That put a nice end to the trip. Not bad for less that 6 hours of fishing. Enjoy the photos and there are more from today on the web site album page.
