Hooking Up Anglers Since 2011.
In the fishing front the surf has been producing some kingfish, bluefish, small spot, also some skates and rays. The EC surf and bay rigs have been the ticket tipped with bloodworms, shrimp, and squid. As for the blues and sharks finger mullet has been doing well on a mullet rig or using the Jumbo surfballs with squid or mullet for the blues has been working well, an occasiional pampano has also been caught on the smaller surf rigs too. In the back bay the croaker have shown up in numbers. Squid, shrimp, and fishbites have been the best bet on them as well. Joe has been using the EC flounder rig with the sinner for the bigger croaker tipped with squid. The EC surf and bay rigs are another good rig with long shank hooks which makes i easier for unhooking the fish. We also have a fish grabber which will also minimize fish handling and getting spiked a plastic yellow gripper which will save your hands. Flounder are still around and using gulp and minnows has been key. Bucktailing/ Jigging has been most effective on drop offs 2-15 of water. Stop on in as we have the largest selection of fishing tackle and the knowledge to help you hook up. Thats the report for now. Tight Lines!
