Another great week on the Met. PMD, BWO, Flav, Green Drake, Caddis, Oct Caddis, small olive stones, Willow Fly, Golden Stone were all hatches I saw out there this week.
Challenging fishing most days so bring your A game.
Nymphs are working well too. The standard Golden Stone with a trailer is a good bet or an Oct Caddis pupa with a trailer.
Streamers for Bull Trout is improving every day as more fish come out of the creeks and back to the river after spawning.
Quite a few Kokanee came in to the river this week with lots more coming. That means 2 things, an egg fly is a great choice for fishing and Bull trout are going to be eating more spawning kokanee so streamers that look like kokanee are a great bet.
