Bahamas trip

 | By Seamus on 3/27/2013 1:00:43 PM | Views (208) On February 20th, we left the Treausure Coast for Grand Cay Bahamas. On the trip over we saw a bamboo float and stop to fish. We caught a few bar jacks and a nice Mahis. We arrived at Grand Cay around 500 pm, it was beautiful and plenty of water to get in, but I was nervous because the water was clear and you could see the bottom at over 20 deep. So we tied up and clear customs, checked into Rosies and order our dinner. Our dinner was lobster, conch, and wahoo, wow as it great. The next morning we left the dock at 600 am to start our fishing day. We started trolling in 300 of water right out front of Walkers Cay and before I got all the lines out we had 3 nice Mahi on, but only managed to land 2 of them. After about a hour we decided to high speed troll for wahoo and cover some ground. We ended up going 3 for 6 on Wahoo that day and catching 3 more nice Mahi. We got to the dock around 400 pm went and got cleaned up for dinner. Again another awesome dinner, we had stone crap claws, lobster, chicken, and conch fritters. We left the dock around 600 am the next morning to start fishing our ways back home. We decided to high speed troll for wahoo and fished back to the corner, along the way we missed 2 wahoo got 6 Mahis, 2 Cero Mackerels, and 2 Barracudas. We arrived back in Stuart around 400 pm and started cleaning fish. I must say it was a awesome trip.
