The fishing continues to be consistent with the Bigger Croaker finally heading inside the bays, and a nice pick of flounder continues. Off the wrecks there are still spadefish and triggers along with flounder and seabass at the deeper wrecks. Mahi-mahi have been plentiuful off shore as well with some Bluefin Tuna and smaller Yellowfin mixed in. *Tight Lines
We also urge people to attend the Meeting about the Intercoastal Waterway being held at Wallops Visitor Center on August 19th at 7pm
Jack and Jessica Lenker from Blain Pennsylvania with their granddaughter Kenzie with a 7lb 9oz 27" citation flounder fishing with Capt. John aboard "The Huntress"
Eric Marrow and Donna Wailes from Chincoteague had a great day out on the wrecks catch 5 flounder using mullet and bucktail/gulp combo.
Another nice flounder brought in by Andy Dodd from Shippensburg, PA off the Tom's Cove campground dock.
Georgia Kalmoutis outfished all the boys on the boat with this 18.5" flounder.
Fish big and small alike were jumping in the boat for Big and Little Joe(chunk)
