Anderson's inlet down at Inverloch can be a good place for anglers to fish from the shore or in a boat, with a decent variety of fish for such a small waterway.
Customer Renato went targeting King George whiting in the inlet, and while the whiting were a bit slow he still managed a few on strips of squid. Renato also caught a few other fish like mullet, salmon and silver trevally on the same bait, and found that a 5m gutter fished well on the run in tide.
Fish like snapper and gummies can also be caught in the inlet, but aren't as common as places like Westernport Bay. Be careful if you head to Anderson's inlet as it can be quite rough for a small waterway during strong winds, and it strongly affected by the tides.
