Snapper fishing good out from Warneet and Tooradin

At the minute some of the better snapper fishing in Westernport is taken place in the upper reaches of the bay, from Warneet through to Joes' Island.

Customer Shayne went out from Tooradin and got into a few quality snapper out around Joes' Island. Customer Chris also had a good session in the same area with snapper to 5.5kg being caught, along with a nice 12kg gummy as well.

In other boating news, the newest boat ramp at Warneet has been opened up for public use. This should take some pressure off during the snapper season.
