Fishing: Excellent

The upper Chama is fishing pretty good as of late! Kokanee and browns are starting to run from El Vado and with the flows at 100 this is the premire year to be on the upper Chama! (Flows are usually around 20) Beatis, caddis, small stones are the flava flaves up there. If you see the Kokanee throw a wolly bugger at them. Below the dams has been pretty decent as well. Water is starting to clear up below Abiquiu. Bigger flashier stuff below the dams such as cranes, poundmeisters, worms, and jimmy legs. Excellent fall colors!
