Port Phillip Bay has really kicked into gear for the snapper over the last week. James from Unreel Fishing Charters has been putting clients onto some thumper snapper in areas from Mount Eliza through to Brighton. Most trips are resulting in a boat load of happy customers that have all caught fish. Baits of pilchard, squid and scad have been excellent, with fish from 2kg through to 7kg being caught.
