Hooking Up Anglers Since 2011.
Well yesterday the wind subsided a bit and today it really let off. This morning it was still a little breezy out of the north but mid day it settled down to nothing. Lots of guides reported good fishing today. Capt. Jim Willcox and Capt. Rick Stanczyk ran deep into the glades, cape sable. They each reported lots of redfish and also each caught a handful of snook. We had redfish trying to get back into creeks in about a foot of water that were tailing and going crazy eating baits. We even had one that we caught twice! Some of the other boys reported good fishing around flamingo as well. Capt. Jeff Beeler had some redfish and more snook action out west of flamingo as well as in the snake bite area. Yesterday Capt. John Johansen got in the backcountry and had a good mixed bag including redfish, black drum, some snook, and some lunker sea trout. The bite is good right now in Islamorada fishign in november, so get on down here and go out fishing!
