March 12 - 31

Rusty Goff, Billy Goff, and Peter Collins returned for the 2nd time.  Fishing on Maverick for 3 days they raised 38 sailfish, had 33 bites, released 26 and 1 on fly.

Niels Erichsen fishing in the local tournament on Canaso 2 raised 33 sailfish had 27 bites and released 20.  Niels finished in 1st Place (Individual Angler)!

The Soberanis group arrived for 1 day of fishing.  On Sirena they raised 2 sailfish, had 2 bites and released 2.

The Bejot group arrived for 1 day of fishing.  On Gypsy they raised 14 sailfish, had 12 bites and released 6.  They also raised 1 marlin

Bill Rorie and Todd Rorie arrived.  Fishing on Maverick for 2 days they raised 31 sailfish, had 24 bites and released 19.

Bo Whitehead, Brandi Cooper, David Boswell, and Ben Burkhalter arrived for the 2nd time.  Fishing 1 day on Sirena they raised 2 sailfish, had 2 bites and released 2.  They also caught 15 small dorado.

Cyril Bodnar and Richard Martens arrived for the 2nd time.  Fishing on Gypsy for 3 days they raised 32 sailfish, had 15 bites, and released 5 on fly.

Byrd Miller, Eliza Miller, Byrd Miller IV and Catherine Miller arrived for the 4th time.  Fishing on Maverick for 3 days they raised 42 sailfish, had 36 bites and released 28.

Palmer Long arrived for 3 days fishing on Knotwork.  He raised 14 sailfish, had 10 bites and released 8.  The last day he went marlin fishing.  On day 3 he raised 2 marlin and released 1 Blue.

Brad Gladstone, Michael Wiseman, Roman Dowhaniuk Jr., Peter Marry and Muawia Bishr arrived for 3 days fishing on Sirena.  They raised 25 sailfish, had 21 bites and released 12.  They also raised 1 marlin.

Dr. Loden arrived for 2 days fishing on Maverick.  He raised 3 sailfish, had 3 bites and released 3.

March 1 - 11

Bill Buckley (Dad) and Bill Buckley (Son) arrived for another visit with us.  Fishing on Maverick for 3 days they raised 33 sailfish, had 26 bites and released 22.

Jacques and Marie Montupet arrived for 6 days fishing.  On Gypsy they raised 37 sailfish, had 31 bites and released 16 conventional.  They also raised 10 sailfish on fly, had 4 bites and released 1.  2 Marlin were also raised.

Larry Gury, David Whitted, and Rolf Schulz arrived.  In 3 days fishing on Knotwork they raised 27 sailfish, had 23 bites, and released 18 conventional.

Richard Pare' and his daughter arrived for 1 day fishing on Sirena.  They raised 10 sailfish, had 7 bites and released 3.

Ernie Hostetler returned to Guatemala.  This time he was joined by Bob Bishop, John Morgan, Chris Millken, Steve Brendan, Jeff Kromer, Brad Krause, Mark Leinweber, Greg Brockman, Daniel Ozbun, and Bob Plann.  Fishing on Maverick, Gypsy, and Canaso for 3 days they raised 82 sailfish, had 72 bites, and released 46.

Jerry Katz returned for the 2nd year in a row fly fishing for sails.  On Piragua in 2 days fishing he raised 7 sailfish, had 3 bites and released 2 on fly.

Nick McClure returned for the 4th time.  Joining Nick were Ryan Dickerson, Nick Curtis, Blake Wineinger, and Joaquin Anderson.   Fishing slowed down a bit.  On Maverick for 3 days & Piragua for 2 days they raised 25 sailfish, had 23 bites and released 19.

David Tyson and Fred Warden arrived.  Fishing 3 days on Sirena they raised 16 sailfish, had 11 bites and released 9.  They also caught 1 dorado.
