There have been some good reports of Kings off Hatteras this week. Live pogies are the preferred bait, with some success with drone spoons and strip baits when they are thick. Pink or Pink/Blue Sea Witches with strip bait or with ballyhoo are also popular.
Large schools of Croaker are moving on the bottom, and the king mackerel can be found above them. Use a #24 planer to get your baits down to depth.
