Tournament WIN!!!! Lawyers, Boats and Money

There are not too many things that I love more than tournament fishing, especially when it's a private tournament. The good people at Chanfrau & Chanfrau chose our boat as one of the 8 for their 12th annual fishing tournament. The rules were simple, the most striker fish in the box wins the pot. We were the last boat to leave the dock, but for a good reason, we had a plan. We watched all the other boats head out toward the steeples for dolphin, wahoo and kings. In a striker tournament the species is not relative, the number is. We were not after glory, we were after money. The light house was still in view when I put the planers and plugs out, that doesn't  happen too often, especially in tournaments. We were determined to give our anglers the winning catch. Our crew was not new to fishing, they all did a great job reeling in Bonitos, Barracudas, Jacks and Mackerels. One angler, Robert, even had a chance to gaff a massive cuda. The first 2 strikes were Bonitos, unfortunately only part of the fish made it to the boat, they were bit in half on the way in. Didn't matter, not counting those we ended up with 18 fish in the box which gave our team the #1 spot taking home all the cash. I'd like to personally thank Chanfrau & Chanfrau for choosing us as one of their fishing tournament boats. Now that we are the winning boat the pressure is on for next year.
