Offshore: Today's we'll have fantastic offshore fishing conditions, so be ready to fish with winds northerly 10 to 15 knots turning west to northwesterly below 10 knots early in the morning then becoming east to northeasterly in the morning and seas below 1 metre. Tomorrows conditions will be pretty good, with winds easterly about 10 knots becoming northeasterly 10 to 15 knots during the afternoon and seas beautiful and below 1 metre. Go for a few mackerel and quality reef fish in Sunshine Coast waters.

Estuaries and Beaches

Noosa: Flathead are in the deeper channels and holes near the river mouth on the run out tide and nice sized whiting on the flats as well. GT's and queenfish at the car park rocks, in Woods Bay and the odd tailor and golden trevally, along the Current Line. Mangrove jacks were worth targeting at the Sand Bags. Mud crabs throughout the river. "

Maroochydore: Flathead, trevally and heaps of average size bream from around and the Cod Hole and Chambers Island. Whiting and bream in the lower river. Mangrove jack in the creeks and around structures in the system. Mud crabs still throughout the river.

Mooloolaba: Some quality flathead and a few grunter around the Twin Bridges. Whiting and bream from the La Balsa sand basin. Mangrove jack from the bridges and snaggy areas of the river. Mud crabs in the canals and lower river.

Caloundra: Worth a try fishing in the sheltered waters of the Pumicestone Passage. Whiting and bream in Currimundi Lake. Flathead, bream and whiting along Golden Beach. Cod and trevally in Pelican waters. Mud crabs throughout the passage and in the creeks.
