Offshore: Beautiful offshore conditions today with winds west to southwesterly below 10 knots, becoming northeasterly in the early afternoon. In the evening winds tending north to northwesterly with seas Below 0.5 metres. Tomorrow will be good conditions as well with winds west to northwesterly below 10 knots, becoming south to southwesterly during the morning. In the afternoon winds tending southeasterly 10 to 15 knots and seas around 1 metre. Hall's Reef, Jew Shoal and Sunshine Reef have been producing quality Spanish mackerel, spotty mackerel and longtail tuna. Spanish mackerel from Currimundi Reef. Spotty and spanish mackerel from Coolum and around Old Women Island. The Gneerings, Caloundra 5 and 12 mile reefs have had a few solid spanish mackerel as well as keeper snapper, grass emperor, spangled emperor, tusk fish and Moses perch.
Noosa: Mangrove jack 50 and 51cm in Noosa Sound and in Woods Bay area. Trevally, flathead and also the odd tailor in Woods Bays. Quality elbow slapper whiting and a few grunter throughout the lower river. Mud crabs on the move throughout the river.
Maroochydore: Tuesdays rainfall has more dirty water moving down stream so try the lower river for a few bream, grunter bream, trevally and whiting in the lower river. Quality mangrove jack around the bridge pylons, rocks bars and snaggy seas throughout the lower and middle river. Mud crabs throughout the river.
Mooloolaba: Whiting and a few good grunter bream in Mountain creek and Kawana Canals. Bream and golden trevally from the boat moorings. Mud crabs in the canals and lower river.
Caloundra: Trevally, bream and tarwhine between the bar and Coast guard Jetty. Flathead and grunter in Bells Creek. Mud crabs throughout the passage and in the creeks. Try for whiting on the banks out from Golden Beach.
