Sensational Spring. April 1-15 2025 Report

What an incredible start to April the past two weeks have been. Sure there were a few slow days but those were definitely the exception rather than the norm.  Case in point, I wrapped up the first half of the month with Charlie and Christine where they released 7 bonefish on the first day and 5 on the following day plus another 9 that come off.  Wow!  Long time client Jordan got his first tarpon and hooked a total of 5 and Mike got one of his biggest snook to date on a mullet imitation soft plastic.  Yes, Biscayne Bay has been firing on all cylinders and it has been a ton of fun.  The bonefishing has been exceptional, the bulk of the day time tarpon fishing has been for resident fish in the 20-80lb range and mullet schools migrating back north are getting lots of attention from snook, trout, jacks, sharks and more.  The finger channels for yellow jacks and snapper have been slow for me but I haven't spent much time fishing them so far this month.  The rest of April should remain just as god and so far we have had a much less windy month than normal making for some very comfortable fishing out in the bay.  See you guys in a couple of weeks!
