Fished Sunday night with Colton from C& C Outfitters on Watauga Lake. The target was Walleye. Caught a fish pretty quick to the start of the night, but it was a small Spotted Bass.  There was a full moon, but cloud cover kept it dark. We worked many areas of the lake without success. On the last stop, the moon peaked out of the clouds and the bait rose to the surface and we both hooked up to what were probably walleye, but never got either to the boat. While the fishing was slow, I had a good time and learnd a lot about this fishery and plan on going again here when the weather is cooler.
