About White's Tackle

In 1925, White's tackle opened its doors in downtown Fort Pierce, Florida in the PP Cobb Building. During that time, Fort Pierce was known for its growing commercial fishery and interests were soon sparked by recreational anglers that learned of the spectacular fishing in the area. After World War II, White's Tackle moved up the street to 51 North Second Street. Since that move, White's Tackle has grown with the ever changing fishing world. From its small local beginnings, it is now located in a 5000 square foot building.
