The next few months are going to be fun. There are 3 ways to approach guntersville at this time. Froggin/flippin,deep ledges and schooling fish. This last week I have caught some giants on Kermit but some days they just blow up and miss the frog while other days you can't take it away from them. The deep ledge bite will continue to be a facto...

It's hot out and so is the fishing at guntersville. In late summer most lakes get tough but guntersville keeps producing. In the little afternoon wildcat tournaments it's taking a 5lb average to be competitive. The stocking program has improved the fishing and the grass is as healthy as I have ever seen it. The ledge bite is the most cons...

December and January consistently yield some of the best fishing of the year. However you like to fish can be productive. There are obviously big groups of fish out on the creek ledges following bait but there is also a shallow bite. The tournament weights in the winter are ridiculous. Anything less than 30 pounds has no chance to win and 20 poun...
