Wow!!! The big fish showed up this week. One of my trips landed a best 5 over 24lbs. The rain,cooler nights and shorter days have the big fish feeding agressively at guntersville. We have been consistently landing over 30 fish a day and now the size is showing up as well. This fall is setting up to be one for the ages. If you find the bait you will find feeding largemouth bass right now at guntersville. The fish are roaming around nomadically feeding on schools of shad. Our best baits have been a whopper plopper at daylight and then a crankbait when the sun comes up and the fish move deeper in the water column.
