With the recent rain and 65 degree weather the bass are on the move. I did 2 guide trips this week and we caught about 15 fish per day with the quality being the best since last winter. Every depth zone has a fishable population of bass at the moment. The really big fish are mostly still out in 12-19 feet around bait. However a large group has started to move towards the spawning areas. This shallower group can be targeted in 8 feet near the bays and pockets. Best baits out deep are a freeloader and an arig.
