As expected October has been phenomenal so far. The water is 75 degrees which is warmer than usual so I expect this great fall fishing to last through December and right into the prespawn. Yesterday while teaching my client how to cast a baitcaster he landed a 6lber and we ended up with 50. Our best baits were crankbaits out on the ledges and a spook up shallow. Deer season starts today and tournament season is slowing down so the fishing pressure should be a little less which helps tremendously.
