With drought conditions lingering over the southeastern United states the recent rains are a welcomed sight. Guntersville lake fishes much better when water is moving through the system and there is some color in the water. I expect excellent fishing as the weather stabilizes. This week has been fun and challenging. There are fish in all 3 phases of the spawn and each day a new area or bait was required to put them in the boat. I have 10 different baits tied on which is very rare. The best baits this week were a jerkbait, dt6 and a spinnerbait.
