We are getting into fall with cooling water temps and pretty darn good fishing.  It is possible to slam which is a tarpon bonefish and permit all in the same day.

Fished last Saturday with Darryl Jim and John in Islamorada. We had a great day. We started out catching jacks snappers Spanish mackerel parrotfish pompano barracuda and more. We moved to the flats and caught lemon sharks and bonnet head sharks sigh

This is a good location for bonefishing and is frequently a well protected area on those windy days. The grass flat is a good area to work all the way out to the reef. Lots of snapper, jacks, barracuda, and occasionally tarpon can be found here.
