It was a haddock slamathon on the Yankee Clipper today!

Friday 5/18 – Yankee Clipper 12 hour private charter and the bite was hot all day it slowed down a little for about an hour around 1100am. The group absolutely slammed them in the afternoon with lots of limits and a lot of large haddock.

On the marathon trip: Haddock were sucking down clams like tourists gulping down oysters at the half shell raw bar!

The bite was steady before the morning tide change and customers landed some nice haddock.

Currently we are continuing to target Haddock while avoiding dogfish as much as is humanly possible.

Yankee Clipper 5/10-5/12 Friday was a little slower than usual but we were accompanied by some whales on the fishing ground. Steady picking on haddock some pollock and throwback cod. Saturday produced a great afternoon bite with a fair amount of hadd

First drop in the morning we had a Haddock slamathon going.  It lasted an hour and a half.  We picked away at them the rest of the day.  Several anglers limited out.

Some nice Haddock Reds Cusk Whiting and a few Pollock today.

The productive haddock fishing continued on Friday’s charter marathon!

Lots of action on the Yankee Clipper Monday.  Many anglers got their limit of haddock and cod.

The Haddock were hungry today! Boat limit secured. Big bags of fillets!

Strong bite more than half the day with lots of good anglers on board. Slowed down for the last hour or two but still fish coming up. Large haddock and some huge cusk. Lots of limits on haddock.

Nice big Haddock and Cusk were caught on thursday although overall landings were down due to tide and dogfish issues.

New regs are 17 Haddock 3 fish 19 pollock unlimited Cusk no limit 9 redfish No cod

The Clipper crew reported a non stop Haddock bite today.  Limits for just about everyone on board.
