The Dogfish have moved into our spring haddock grounds.  There are three primary areas that we go to in order to avoid the dogs. We will be working those areas in the next few days. We have been getting some real nice catches of haddock.

We had rough weather on Wednesday but if anything it seemed to make the larger Haddock want to bite.  We had a few nice Pollock and a lot of Cusk as well.

Haddock catching has been good this week!!

Haddock fishing will have trends that last from days to weeks.  We had some huge haddock trending Thursday and Friday.  But on Saturday the water was flat calm with no movement and the area where the big ones have been was not pro

We have been doing our best to avoid the dogfish.  Luckily there are a lot of nice big haddock around this year.

Sunday was on the slow side as the incoming tide was unproductive.   Memorial  Day our boat reported in a non stop haddock slamathon right from the get go.

Haddock were voraciously hungry on Sunday!

In the last few days a second wave of dogfish has pushed into the waters from the north. We have shifted to fishing our defensive areas where dogfish tend to be not as prevalent. We are getting some nice big haddock every trip.

We did 4 drifts today.  Second drift was the best with the biggest haddock.

The 12 hour marathon trip produced a lot of action with Haddock and Pollock.

Friday was action packed with some very nice haddock caught.  We are still culling through a lot of Cod that we carefully return to the water alive.

The fish were biting like mad in general but some anglers caught and released 30 cod before catching their first haddock.

Awesome trip yesterday many took home their limit of haddock and cod! Still space left on our marathon trip this week!!

All-day fishing has picked up with a mix of cod haddock and a few nice Pollock. We are still seeing lots of shorts mixed in but the take home has been good. The 1/2 day has had great mackerel fishing the past few days and the bass are hitting good. W

Thursday started out kind of slow but then by stop # 3 of a 5 stop day it turned into an all out slamathon.  Many anglers got their limit of haddock and cod.

Monday on our first stop the haddock were biting right away.  However the current pulled us off the spot.  We quickly re-anchored up and had a two hour slamathon of hungry haddock.

This weekend didn’t only bring great weather but it also brought great Deep sea fishing. Out of Scituate Massachusetts Elizabeth Marie was on the fish all weekend. Saturday was lights out with the crew from New York. Catching our limit of
