Saturday 6/6:  Had Jon Frankel charter the boat yesterday - 5 man crew. Guys wanted seabass we obliged. Started out fishing somewhat locally and had a slow pick with mixed sized seabass. Made a few wiggles kept picking - all on the drift we had

Although conditions were less than ideal yesterday we made a great day of it! Some nice pollock and red fish were brought aboard the Yankee Clipper.  They did have to fight off some blue sharks throughout the day but they did well overall.

As everyone else along the East Coast braced in fear of Hurricane Irene a week ago there were a few anglers secretly cheering on its arrival. Those were the few entrants in the lead for big money prizes in the Mid-Atlantic $500 000 Tournament at Cap

The first deep water jigging trip had a lot of action. The big pollock were hungry. Unfortunately the blue sharks were extra hungry as well and they spooled many of the customers reels.

Plenty of pollock with both boats getting their limit. Some pollock and cusk mixed in made for a great day.some mackerel showing up. We have all days 1/2 days running through Monday. We also have a marathon on Monday Call for a reservation.

There were some huge Haddock and Pollock that were reeled up today!

Saurday the waves were large in the morning.  Conditions were difficult but the anglers managed to catch some haddock and pollock.

Caught a mix of keepers on todays all day trip including haddock cod pollock cusk and redfish. We also witnessed a school of tuna working bait pod of white sided dolphins mola mola and a blue shark!

Thursday’s 12 hour trip was action packed. Anglers were busy reeling up fish all day. We did release a lot of cod but the haddock fishing was very productive. A few dozen nice pollock were caught as well.

Epic marathon yesterday aboard the Yankee Clipper! The 3rd stop was a 3 hour long non stop slamathon of large pollock cusk large reds and 3 large hake with a few dozzen haddock mixed in. We also jigged up some nice big codfish at the final anchorage
