Slinging Kings in Hatteras

Went commercial fishing for King Mackerel out of Hatteras yesterday. It was very foggy, but once we found the warm water, it cleared up. For the first hour we could not even get all the lines in the water without getting a bite. It was a good way to start the first trip of 2017.

We caught lots of smaller kings early in the day and few nice sized ones as we moved further offshore. We also caught a dozen False Albacore Tuna. The 4.5 inch Drone Spoon was hot and we caught a few on other colored spoons as well. The Pink Seawitch with fat back strips worked as well.
