Buena Vista Sportfishing Lodge located on the water in Iztapa, Guatemala offers excellent boats and crews, first-class accommodations and a relaxed family-friendly environment. Our clients during high season average over a dozen sailfish releases per day. Unlike most fishing destinations with migrating fish, sailfish are always swimming off our coast. Scientists believe  the coast of Guatemala is the largest breeding ground of pacific sailfish in the world. Literally, everyday of the year we expect to raise and release sailfish. Adding to the excitement in the past four years, we have seen an explosion of blue and black marlin entering our waters.

Our typical Guatemala fishing charter includes four nights and three days of fishing, ground transportation to and from the airport, one person per room lodging and five-star meals. Our boats are fully stocked with light tackle, conventional and fly fishing gear.  If you have ever dreamed of catching a sailfish on fly, we offer personalized guide service at no extra cost.
