HIOS - HIA573 (25007) is a gas/oil platform built by High Island Offshore System, L.L.C. and installed on 03/30/1979. HIOS - HIA573 is considered a minor platform that stands in 330 feet of water and may provide habitat for many different offshore species of fish. Primary targets include Blackfin Tuna, Longtail Sea Bass, Warsaw Grouper, Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowedge Grouper, and many different species of Sharks and reef fish. Mahi-mahi, Sailfish, and Wahoo are also frequent found around this offshore platform.
