Today we changed things up and went back to Tuna fishing. We fished on anchor all day and gave everyone a chance to tag as many Yellowfin Tuna as they needed. Tomorrow we will be fishing for Yellowtail along the coast. TEAM RP

Epic day of Wahoo fishing today!!! We spent the whole day once again looking for that one kelp. Once we found it just before lunch it was game on. Everybody was able to tag a wahoo today! We will be in a different area tomorrow trying for tuna. TEAM RP

Today we spent the first half of our “travel day” getting all rigged up for the fishing this trip. We started fishing in an area just after lunch and had steady action for everyone on both Yellowfin and Bluefin Tuna. Tomorrow we will be in a different area trying to Yellowtail.

Overall 2025 was a year of decline in many ways.  The striper fishing especially from shore continues on a downward and disappointing trend here in RI.
