As of this morning 1/2/26 we are still ONLY allowing walking Snowmobiles   ATVs and Side by Sides through our access. We are sad to say that the slush pocket on our frontage is not solid. We are still NOT allowing permanent houses on through our landing because of the spot that needs to heal directly in front of us. We will update you on any chan...

The bite continued mainly under the slot Walleye with an occasional slot in the mix. Perch activity in the shallower water was busy but mostly small. With the full moon the shallow-water bite should be pretty good if you’re in the “right spot” and quiet. We are finishing up getting the permanents on the list […] The post January 2nd 2025 first app...

OFFSHORE- Reports have been a bit slow this week offshore. Despite the decent cold front sailfish action never really went off. The general consensus was most boats putting the kites up saw a fish or two with only a few boats getting more than 4 or 5 chances. A scattering of dolphin in 250-400' of water but no big numbers. The wahoo have shown up a...

The past eight days have been really good fishing for us averaging one to two blue marlin a day. The Omni sonar has been a game changer making a huge difference in how many fish we’re seeing and catching. This morning we’re already 2 for 2 on a half-day trip and lost a solid 500–600 […] The post Kona Fishing Report appeared first on Hooked Up.

Wow what an incredible second half of December we’ve had in Miami. The bay has been firing on all cylinders and with the exception of the last couple days of the month it’s been relatively warm. Although the air temperature has been warm the water temperatures have been cooling and that has caused permit to stack up as well as Pompano mackerel Sna...

We are finally allowing ATVs and Sides by sides through our access again. We are not allowing fish houses through our access yet because the slush on our immediate frontage needs more time to freeze solid. Please check our update from the 30th for more general info. We will update ASAP when we can allow houses!

What to expect with the Bass Pro Tour in town and a cold front approaching. The world is about to find out Guntersville is hot when the weather is cold. Recent rain has added color and current which will help immensely. I expect minnow shaking to be a great pattern as well as traditional methods like jerkbaits, crankbaits, traps and chatterb...
