Wow. Guntersville is ridiculous. Congratulations to Eric Lampkin for winning the New Year's Day tournament with 5 fish that weighed 32.3 pounds. It took 29 pounds to get a check. There were many 20 plus pound bags that got a pat on the back. Guntersville has worked hard to maintain a healthy fishery with excellent habitat and the recent stocking program is paying off as well. The best part is you can catch them any way you want right now. Bridges,ledges or grasslines. When it warms a little and the fish flood the spawning areas it is going to be unreal.
